With the kids at home during the summer holiday or a little toddler that has way more energy than you do, they may need some entertainment to keep them busy.

I get it, as a mom it is tough to always be present and spend quality time with the kids. Coming up with enough ideas to keep them busy with something that is both fun and educational is hard!

SUMMER SCAVENGER HUNT

If you need a break or are looking to spend some quality time with your kids, this summer scavenger hunt is the perfect outdoor activity.

Not only is it fun and educational, but it will keep them busy for quite a while. It is also a great way to encourage your kids to spend more time outside and it can be a game enjoyed all summer long.

What makes this scavenger hunt exciting is the fact that it involves the 5 senses - sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. So it is a great learning activity, especially for the younger ones.

Just remember to not let them taste or touch anything without asking you first, we want to avoid trips to the emergency rooms :-)

Simply print them in color if you can, laminate each sheet, grab a marker, and head outside!

Encourage your kids to be patient with finding all the things and make it an opportunity to teach as they go along. There could even be an award when they got everything!
