How bring the outdoors in and style your home with BLOOMIST

I love decorating our home and bringing natural elements in is something I do all the time! Even better? When I can mix some natural elements with dried botanicals and some beautiful faux pieces. Joining everything together really makes the possibilities endless and your home always looks fresh and one of a kind. Read on to see how I styled four areas of our home with some of Bloomist’s newest pieces and florals.

I look for pieces that are understated and classic. Pieces that can tell a story and can be used in many areas of the home and blend right in. Beautiful earth tones and organic shapes. Bloomist has really captured this so perfectly with their pieces that are perfect to decorate with. They also have some amazing faux florals and dried botanicals

KITCHEN

I love classic pieces that you can intermix and use at any time and they don’t go out of style. These beautiful pitchers hand crafted in India are so well made and perfect for florals or drinks! I love their modern take which makes them stand out in my farmhouse kitchen.

It’s wonderful to have fresh flowers in the kitchen daily. I usually go out to our garden and gather whatever is blooming then and there. Mixing them in with a few faux and also dried florals gives more texture and depth.

For these images I used:

Fresh : Sunflowers, Dahlias, and hydrangeas

Faux: A single ecofaux Dark Cosmo for a pop of color

Dried: Dried Banksia foliage for height in the tall pitcher and some pepper grass as well when the pitcher is not in use for liquids.

BATHROOM

The bathroom is our oasis. It’s where you wind down and relax at the end of a long day. I love these organically shaped tiny vases. They bring such character and beauty to the bathroom. Handcrafted by artisans in Portland, OR, each piece reflects light so beautifully. They are perfect for small florals whether fresh, eco faux, or dried.

For our bathroom I used the following:

Fresh- A single cosmo from our garden and some red amaranth

Faux - Beautiful heirloom rose stem ( love the detail these have with faded petals and even some bug holes to make them as real as possible.

Dried - Love the subtle color and volume dried banksia can add to any bouquet.

LIVING ROOM

Our home has an open concept and the living room is at the center of it. I love a big statement piece on the coffee table such as this. This beautiful simple glass vase is hand crafted in Spain from recycled glass. It’s large size is perfect and the shape is very versatile for any area of the home.

I added a few beautiful dahlias from our garden as well as fresh cut hydrangeas.

Here you can see it with just the beautiful Eco Faux heirloom rose stem. In the background is the small nova pitcher with a single dahlia.

Pictured here is the large nova pitcher with some dried pepper grass. Love the subtle green color and texture it adds.

DINNING ROOM

Our dinning room is one of my favorite rooms in the house. I love all the natural light and it’s a beautiful place to gather for a meal. We’ve had lots of beautiful sunflowers in our garden so I incorporated some here along with some Eco Faux florals to do a simple table.

I am using the simple glass vase again and the height is perfect for a table scape as well!

An easy way to incorporate fresh flowers is to slip them through the napkin ring and you have an instant beautiful focal point for each place setting. The Nova pitcher is perfect to hold liquids and can be used for water on the table when it’s not used for florals.
