Design has always been how I pay attention.

On this cold, iced-in January day, I sketched a study inspired by the Lenten rose, and imagined a coat formed from alpaca fiber , built for warmth and endurance. The fiber itself comes from our alpaca, Max

Seeds ask for attention long before harvest.
Every winter, I make decisions months ahead of when the ground is ready, not out of urgency, but out of care.

Ordering seeds early.
Planning for onion starts before I need them.
Growing enough to carry us

Before the farm had rhythm.
Before rest was intentional.

I crossed oceans.
I stood close to fear and beauty in the same moment.

I was designing wedding gowns by hand.
Working as a nurse.
Becoming an aunt.

So much motion.
So much learning.
