Thanksgiving Table Inspiration
With Thanksgiving coming soon I thought it would be fun to recap a table scape I did last year with the holiday in mind. I think we tend to overcomplicate things when it comes to design. We are constantly bombarded with new ideas and things. I like to stick to things I mostly have add some natural elements, lots of candles, and done!
Jared’s grandma had this beautiful blue and gold china she gave us which I felt went well with the jewel tones of autumn. Gorgeous fall leaf colors, greens and deep blues with gold.
So I grabbed my regular white dishes and mixed them in. Clear stemware and gold flatware. Then pop in some candle votives and taller wooden candle holders for some more texture.
Target always has little houses in the dollar section so I grabbed a few of those and popped them in. That was the only new thing I bought. I used a garland I had already and then added one with fall leaves as well. Add some real white pumpkins and maybe add a leaf with everyones name written on it to the plates for an extra special detail.
Light your candles and that’s it. Pretty, simple, and has a wonderful glow when you have all your loved ones gathered around the table.
