Farm Spring Floral arrangement
I love spring and all around the farm we have flowers blooming! I thought I would show you how I gather items from around the homestead to make a beautiful floral arrangement that I can use on my dining room table, kitchen counter, or living room! Read on to see what I did!
To make your arrangement start with a few simple things!
Flowers and branches, leaves from around your homestead
Some sort of vase ( I like to use an old candle container)
A flower arranger ( makes it easy to hold florals in place.
That’s it!
For my spring bouquet I found the following!
Magnolia leaves
Honeysuckle
Russian Sage
Roses ( smaller ones and one larger one)
Daisies
Yellow Cosmos
A pretty weed I don’t know the name of :)
When it comes to arranging the flowers I kind of just go with whatever feels right! I love it to be messy and wild. Almost the look of just plucking everything and just putting it into the vase/container. I use a flower arranger which really helps keep everything in place. I love how this one turned out! The magnolia leaves add such character and I love the pops of red and yellow from the flowers! I like to have some of the floral hand down and then add some in the back for height!
There is honestly no right or wrong way to do it! Flowers are beautiful just the way they are and whatever you gather is sure to look beautiful! Nothing better than farm fresh flowers from your homestead! They smell delicious and look beautiful too!
This could be a fun family activity with the little ones. Gathering flowers and making small arrangements. They would also make a great gift!
