Hey Friends ! You know I love a pretty tables cape and this time I teamed up with my friend Emily over at Hand Made Farmhouse to bring you our own versions of table decor.

I decided to go with a dusty rose palate as well as some lilacs, gold accents, and lots of paper goods to create this beautiful table. I love how it turned out! Just whimsical with a touch of vintage. I added elements of decor I already had and made a few!

Instead of buying expensive napkin rings I just used shower curtain rings! Worked out perfectly. This table is honestly easy to recreate and something you should totally do! If you have little ones they’ll love making the garland with you.

ITEMS TO Re-create this table

1.) White plates and glasses

2.) Mercury votives

3.) Wood and gold accents

4.) Pale pink roses

5.) Fresh eucalyptus

PAPER GARLAND

To make paper garland you will need the following. Watch my IGTV for a how to as well on how to do this.

SUPPLIES:

1.) Pale pink and lavender cardstock. IF notecard size you’ll need about 20 of each. If regular sheet size about 10 of each.

2.) Old paper from old book. ( something that is already a bit yellowed, not bright white. About 10 pages

3.) White doillie coasters ( linked below) About 20 of them

4.) 5-6 avocado pits, rinsed clean. You can freeze them until you are ready to use them.

5.) A medium size pot and tongs.

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Place avocado pits in pot and bring to a boil for about 15 min

2.) Place notecards, paper, doilies, etc into water and let sit for a couple of hours. Depending on what colors you want you can leave them in there for longer or less time. I did about 2 hours.

3.) With tongs gently lift papers out and set on trash bag to dry.

4.) Once almost dry cut to desired size and fold over so you can just place them over the string without having to securely attach. I folded mine a bit uneven so it would have more movement when viewed.

5.) Fold the Doillies in half and the vintage paper as well. I left the vintage paper a bit longer than the cardstock.

6.) Now just line up your string and alternate placing the different colors along with the vintage paper and doillie every so often. I placed the doillie under the vintage paper but you can do whichever version you like. You really can’t mess up.

7.) Hang and done!!
