Coconut oil, maple syrup, almond butter, and a pinch of salt come together to create this luscious, velvety caramel sauce.

Drizzle it over sliced apples for a snack that's as wholesome as it is delightful. Stir it into your morning oatmeal for a breakfast that feels like a warm hug. Pour it generously over your favorite vegan ice cream, or serve over a freshly baked apple crumble.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 Cup coconut oil

  • 1/4 Cup maple syrup (the real kind)

  • 2 Tbs Almond butter (regular raw almond butter)

  • A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:

  • Melt coconut oil and maple syrup over low heat until melted and blended.

  • Then add the almond butter and whisk well until all is mixed together. Do this for about a minute.

  • Pour into a ramekin or sauce pitcher, and serve it hot!

  • This will keep in a small jar for a couple of weeks in the fridge. Simply re-heat it when you want to use it again.

Spoiler alert! This vegan caramel sauce is so good, you might find yourself licking the spoon and wondering how something so simple can be so utterly decadent!

Enjoy friend!
