Spring Flower Tablescape
Friends! You know I love table scapes and spring is the perfect time to host small lunch or dinner and enjoy all the delicious spring harvests. Flowers are now more abundant so creating this tablescape was easy!
Keep reading to see what I did and I hope you love it as much as I do!
MATERIALS I USED
FLOWERS and Natural Elements- For me this look was all about flowers! I love how they add so much beauty naturally! One of my other favorite things to do is add branches! I love to add ones from around the homestead. I also added some terra cotta pots! Spring is full of gorgeous blooms use them to make your home look beautiful in a natural way! I added some dried flowers and also loose blooms on the table. They just added lots of color and texture, not to mention beauty.
Fabric Chargers- I’ve had some dusty rose velvet type fabric for a very long time in my home and I have never used it! I thought I would recover a chair someday but that has not happened. So I decided to take it to make plate chargers! I did this for Christmas also with green velvet and it worked great! Buying a yard or 2 of fabric and simply cutting out large circles for your chargers really works well and is much less expensive than buying a charger. I love how it looks too! Depending on the material you can spot clean or just throw in the wash and it really adds some nice elements to it! I used a pale pink fabric with tulips for this tablescape and I loved it!
Glass- I used these vintage glasses that were given to my mom years ago! They have tiny birds on them and I love how delicate they are! I also used Jared’s grandma’s flatware. Incorporate special elements like that and it will make a table that much more beautiful.
Napkins- I have decided that one way to make a table feel fancy is to have real napkins. They look so beautiful and yes you have to wash them but I promise they will make everything look and feel better if you use them. I love linen but you can use any fabric.
Candlelight- I love putting votives inside jars of all different sizes. This adds beautiful light and dimension to the table.
I mean look at Georgia. She is SO cute!
