The Most Delicious Strawberry Chocolate Chip Pancakes for Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is all about spreading love—and what better way to show your loved ones that you care than with a special breakfast made from the heart?

These strawberry chocolate chip pancakes are Ava’s favorite and the perfect way to kick off the day of love! She enjoyed making these and is excited to make them again for the big love in her life: her dad!

Bursting with the vibrant flavor of freeze-dried strawberries, the crunch of chopped pecans, and melty, gooey chocolate chips, each bite is a reminder that sometimes the best gifts come from the kitchen.

Whether you’re cooking up a surprise for your partner, gathering the family for a cozy Valentine’s breakfast, or treating yourself to something sweet (because self-love is just as important!), these luscious, love-filled pancakes will be a hit!

What makes these pancakes extra yummy is how the freeze-dried strawberries add an intense fruity punch that you don’t always get with fresh berries. Combined with nutty pecan bits and pockets of melted chocolate, the flavor combination is just magic—like a love letter in pancake form!

This recipe makes 6–8 pancakes.

ingredients

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients.

  2. Gently fold in the strawberries, pecan, and chocolate chips, ensuring all is mixed well.

  3. Warm a skillet to medium heat with a little bit of olive oil.

  4. Pour 1/4 cup batter into the pan and cook for 3 minutes until you start seeing little bubbles forming.

  5. Flip the pancake and cook for another 2 minutes.

  6. Serve with fresh fruit, syrup, or even some cream for a yummy breakfast!

I hope you and your loved ones enjoy these as much as my family does! May your hearts and tummies be filled with special memories and delicious goodness!
